Tornado strikes Hattiesburg

A tornado struck the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area on Sunday, February 10, 2013, causing major damage on 200 homes, 100 apartments and injuring at least 60 people. The tornado had maximum wind speeds of up to 145 mph, and was rated an EF-4 on the tornado intensity scale, according to a survey conducted Monday by the National Weather Service.
